Kengan Ashura Season 3 anime TV series is officially confirmed to be in the works. The anime TV sequel will be Kengan Ashura Part 3 on Netflix.

Kengan Ashura is a fighting anime created by Japanese animation studio Larx Entertainment. The anime, which resembles Baki at first glance, was one of the animations that attracted great attention in Japan and worldwide.

We watched aesthetic fights with bare hands, bloody, and deaths in the anime. It was one of the best anime of 2019 and according to the IMDb data, the anime received a high rating of 8.0 from users.

In fact, the series is an adaptation of a manga of the same name. The manga series written and illustrated by Yabako Sandrovich has been published in Ura Sunday & MangaONE magazines. The  Netflix -licensed anime adaptation, on the other hand, drew more sound than its manga.

In the film’s backdrop, armed forces sacrifice their lives to protect the wealthy. Thanks to their efforts, the manga’s creators became household names almost immediately. The manga, which lasted from 2012 to 2018 and featured 27 volumes and a diverse cast of characters, wowed fans.

As a result, Netflix chose to adapt the narrative and turn it into an incredible anime series. The first season featured 24 episodes. The first 24 episodes were broadcast two months apart, with the second episode airing in October.

In Kengan Ashura, salaryman Kazuo Yamashita is put in charge of managing the powerful Ohma Tokita, who himself is tasked with winning an annual tournament hosted by some of Japan’s business elites.

The second season concludes when Ohma defeats an assassin named Raian midway into that tournament. The third season then will likely pick up the rest of the tournament as Ohma advances into its third round.

Will there be a Third Season Of Kengan Ashura?

The official release date of Kengan Ashura Season 3 has yet to be announced by Netflix or Larx Entertainment. However, in the third chapter of Kengan Ashura, there is a lot of talk on social media and on anime platforms.

So, if Netflix’s creators announce a new chapter in the summer of 2022, we may expect the next season to debut at the end of 2023.

Kaiji Tang provides the English voice of Ohma Tokita, the main character in Kengan Ashura (nicknamed Ashura). Sanemi Shinazugawa in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, superpowered professor Satoru Gojou in Jujutsu Kaisen , the interesting Aikawa in Dorohedoro, and many more are among Tang’s accolades.

Tatsuhisa Suzuki is Ohma’s Japanese voice actor, having previously portrayed the protagonist in Masaaki Yuasa’s Kick-Heart and various characters in multiple Pokémon animated series.

Keith Silverstein plays Kazuo Yamashita, the series co-lead and Ohma’s manager in English. Cho plays the Japanese character.

The voice of Ohma’s surrogate father Tokita, Keiji Fujiwara, died in April 2020, therefore if Kengan Ashura is renewed for a third season, the show’s producers will have to find a replacement. If Kengan Ashura is revived, Tang, Suzuki, and the rest of the original voice cast are likely to return.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Kengan Ashura needs more parts. Part 2 concluded with Ohma’s fight in the second round, beating Raina, and moving on to the third round/quarter-final.

Considering there are two further rounds, the semi-final and final, after the quarter-finals there’s still a large portion of the story to be covered. There’s room for at least two more parts before Kengan Ashura concludes.
