In March 2020, during Bleach’s 20th-anniversary project, Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 17 revealed that Bleach season 17 is officially in the works and will adapt the Thousand-Year Blood War arc from the manga series, which is also its conclusive arc.
The upcoming season will be uncensored, meaning fans can expect an uninhibited amount of violence and action scenes. Bleach Season 17 might make a debut in the very first days of October 2022.
It is again an impatient wait of a few more months when we see Ichigo Kurosaki and his companions in action again. The release date was confirmed during the Shueisha’s Jump Festa ’22 through a new promotional video.

Bleach Season 17 Expected Plot (SPOILER)
Just a quick recap, in the 16th season of the anime, we saw Ichigo Kurosaki losing all his powers. Struggling to regain his abilities, Rukia Kuchiki assisted him in getting his powers back as a Soul Reaper.
Meanwhile, all the Hollows mysteriously disappeared, causing the hard-fought union to crush. No one knows what happened and what circumstances triggered their disappearance.
Eventually, a new group of soldiers called Wandenreich (which translates to Invisible Empire) launched its attack against the Soul Society. The Wandenreich is a secret group of the Quincy.
After losing the war against the Shinigami 1,000 years ago, Quincy escaped from the human world and built a hiding place in the Seireitei. They used Reishi to create space in the shadows, successfully concealing their whereabouts.
Wandenreich wants to use the abundant Reishi that can only be found in the Soul Society. For a thousand years, they have been secretly growing their powers in the shadow, waiting for the day to orchestrate an attack and harness all the Reishi in the Soul Society.
The Wandenreich is determined to take down everyone who gets in their way. In season 17, Ichigo must undergo intense training and find a way to defeat the Wandenreich to save the Soul Society. Judging from the lack of censorship, expect the final battle of Ichigo to be bloody and brutal. Will he manage to save the Soul Society?
